obtain
a
visa
to
suit
your
plans.

These

have
been
for
periods
varying
from
four
months
to
four
years.

you
are
already

Australia
and
are
considering
taking

available

generally
be
possible
to
change
your
visa
status.
Holders
of
tourist
or
working
holiday
visas
are
entitled
to
apply
for
long
term
temporary
resident
visas
allowing
employment.
In
some
circumstances,
if
you

overseas
and
there
is
an
urgent
need
for
you
to
come
to
Australia,
a
short-term
visa
authorising
employment
may
be

then
a
long-term
temporary
resident
